ISO 9001 · ISO 14001
✓Programme planned · 5 visits · every window met
Three-year ISO programmes are planned one audit at a time, in spreadsheets, by planners who carry the rules in their heads.
ScheduleAI plans the whole programme from stage 1 to recertification, checking IAF-coded competence, rotation and the accreditation body for every standard.
A global certification body scheduled 49,000 audit-hours in 12 minutes. Planning the same work had taken a month.
Three-year programmes. Planned one audit at a time.
Programmes live in spreadsheets
Stage 1, stage 2, two surveillance visits and a recertification per client, tracked across tabs nobody else can read.
Competence checked from memory
IAF codes, technical areas and the accreditation body for each standard, matched by whoever knows the auditors best.
Integrated audits break the rules
A 9001 + 14001 + 45001 audit needs a team that covers every code. Finding it by hand takes a morning.
One programme. Five visits. Every one inside its window.
- Stage 1Readiness reviewLead auditor with the right IAF code, often remote
- Stage 2Certification auditFull team sized to scope; certificate decision follows
- Surveillance 1Year oneInside the window from the certificate date
- Surveillance 2Year twoRotation checked against previous visits
- RecertificationYear threeBefore expiry, with a fresh pair of eyes where rules require

| Requirement | What it says | How ScheduleAI applies it |
|---|---|---|
| ISO/IEC 17021-1 · 9.1.3 | Surveillance at least once a calendar year; the first within 12 months of the certification decision | Each surveillance is due inside both limits; anything at risk goes to a planner early |
| ISO/IEC 17021-1 · 9.6 | Recertification in time for renewal before the certificate expires | Recertification planned ahead of expiry, with rotation checked |
| IAF MD 5 | Audit time set by size, risk and complexity; travel time excluded | Durations taken from your platform; auditors found free for exactly those days |
| IAF MD 1 | Multi-site sampling, with the central function audited every year | Central function and sampled sites planned as one programme |
| IAF MD 11 | Integrated audit team competent, as a whole, for every standard and technical area | A team is formed when no single auditor covers every code |
| IAF MD 4 | Remote auditing agreed with the client and risk-assessed | Remote or on-site set per audit; remote audits need no travel |
| Your impartiality policy | ISO/IEC 17021-1 sets no fixed rotation number; your policy does | Your limit, for example three consecutive cycles, checked on every allocation |

An illustration of a planning run: every audit lands with a qualified auditor inside its window, nearby visits are grouped, a team is formed for the integrated audit, and subcontractors are used only as overflow.

Every code. Every standard. Every auditor.
ScheduleAI reads competence per standard and code, then shows why each auditor qualifies, or why they don't.

Questions planning teams ask
Does ScheduleAI understand IAF codes?
Yes. Competence is held per standard and code, and every allocation is checked against it before it is booked.
How is audit duration handled (IAF MD 5)?
ScheduleAI uses the audit days set by your certification platform or procedure, including IAF MD 5 calculations, and finds auditors free for exactly those days. It never changes a duration you've determined.
Can it plan multi-site audits under IAF MD 1?
Yes. The central function and sampled sites are planned as one programme, with each site matched to auditors competent for its processes and nearby sites grouped into trips.
Can it plan the whole three-year programme?
Yes. Stage 1 and stage 2 are planned before the certification decision, surveillance audits inside the ISO/IEC 17021-1 windows that follow it (the first within 12 months of the decision), and recertification before the certificate expires.
Will our accreditation body accept allocations made by software?
The engine proposes and a planner approves. Every allocation records the competence, rotation and impartiality rules it passed, so your assessor can sample the reasoning, not just the result.
What about integrated audits?
Where no single auditor covers every standard, it forms a lead and co-auditor team that together cover every code.
Does it replace our ERP?
No. It connects through a REST API and webhooks, with a pre-built Intact integration.
How long does implementation take?
A free two-week custom demo on your data, a four-week scoping and integration phase, then an eight-week pilot with one division live. Rollout to further regions follows.
What does ScheduleAI cost?
The custom demo is free. Scoping and integration is a fixed fee agreed in writing. The annual licence is priced per scheduled day (one calendar day per auditor with a confirmed appointment), with lower rates as your volume grows, plus an annual platform fee.
Is our data secure?
ScheduleAI is ISO/IEC 27001 certified, GDPR compliant and hosted in AWS Ireland (EU). Your data is never used to train models.
Do planners stay in control?
Yes. The engine proposes and explains every allocation; planners approve, adjust or override, and every override is logged with its reason.
