Every allocation checked.Every decision recorded.Ready for your assessor.
ScheduleAI checks competence per standard and code, the accreditation body, rotation, conflicts of interest and trainee rules before an auditor is proposed, and keeps the record of why. Your procedures set the rules; the engine applies them the same way every time.Your procedures, applied the same way every time.
- ✓Competence: IAF 28, valid on both audit days

Lapsed competence, rotation drift and undeclared conflicts surface when the assessor samples a file.
Every allocation is checked against competence, accreditation, rotation and declared conflicts before it is proposed, and overrides are recorded.
A global assurance provider formed 22 compliant teams for 305 largely integrated audits.
The finding you only see at the assessment.
Competence out of date
A qualification that lapses between planning and the audit day, caught only when a file is sampled.
Rotation drift
The same auditor at the same client year after year, because nobody tracks the whole programme.
Impartiality by memory
Declared conflicts in one register and allocations in another, matched by hand.
Who can take this audit, and who can't.
Before anyone is proposed, each candidate is checked. Candidates who fail a check are set aside with the reason.

The clauses an assessor samples.
| ISO/IEC 17021-1 | Requirement | Evidence ScheduleAI keeps |
|---|---|---|
| 5.2 | Impartiality threats identified and managed, including recent consultancy for the client | Declared conflicts, including consultancy you record, block the allocation; overrides logged with a reason |
| 7.1.2 | Competence criteria per technical area and function | Competence per standard and code, valid on every audit day |
| 7.2 | Auditors selected, authorised and monitored | Only authorised auditors proposed; trainees paired with a qualified auditor |
| 7.4 | Personnel records kept up to date | Competence read from your register; lapses flagged before the audit |
| 9.2.2 | Team selected for the competence the audit needs | Teams formed to cover every code; experts and observers never counted as auditors |
Clause references are to ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015. Food-safety, inspection and accreditation rules are mapped the same way.

Competence, checked at scale.
“I'm really impressed. This works for our most complex division, managing thousands of audits across multiple countries with different qualifications.”
Director · European testing, inspection and certification group
Caught before the audit, not after.
A competence lapses
Every affected allocation is flagged before the audit date, with qualified alternatives.
A new conflict is declared
Planned audits with that client are re-checked and flagged to a planner.
The scope is extended
New codes are checked against the team already planned.

Questions quality managers ask
Does it replace our competence register?
No. It reads competence, validity dates and roles from your register or ERP and checks them on every allocation. Keeping a start and expiry date on every qualification lets it check the audit days, not just today.
Can we see why an auditor was chosen?
Yes. Every allocation records the rules it passed and why it ranked first, and every override is logged with its reason.
Can a planner override a rule?
A planner can override a proposal, and the override is recorded with its reason. The engine itself never trades a rule off against travel or cost.
Does the engine score auditors on performance?
No. Auditors are matched on competence, availability, rotation, impartiality, workload and travel. They are not ranked on behaviour or performance ratings, and a planner approves every allocation.
How are trainees handled?
Auditors-in-training join under a qualified lead and are booked outside the calculated audit time, as ISO/IEC 17021-1 and IAF MD 5 require.
What about the EU AI Act?
ScheduleAI is built for EU AI Act transparency: planners approve every allocation, every decision is logged, and clients are told when a message is automated.
